Information changes
We check the information on this site against named sources and show when we did. But ferry and train timetables, fares, opening hours, prices, track and road conditions, seasons and business details change, sometimes without notice. Before you rely on something important — a sailing time, whether a road or track is open, whether a business is trading — confirm it with the operator or the official source we link to.
Safety
Walking, boating and driving in the Marlborough Sounds carry real risks, and conditions change quickly. Nothing on this site is safety advice. Check DOC, MetService, NZTA and the council before you go, and follow operators’ and skippers’ instructions.
