Ten minutes from the waterfront, over the Coathanger Bridge, to a small beach.

The shortest walk in town: 422 m and about 10 minutes from the foreshore across the marina footbridge to Shelly Beach. Easy grade, and the doorway into every other track in Victoria Domain.

About Foreshore to Shelly Beach

This is the walk to do if you have twenty minutes and want to see the harbour from somewhere other than the car park. From the foreshore reserve you cross the Coathanger Bridge — the footbridge over the marina entrance — and follow the path around to Shelly Beach, a small beach with toilets at the edge of Victoria Domain.

It is graded Easy by the council and is the connector for everything else on this side of the harbour: the Lower Bob's Bay (Cliff) Track starts at Shelly Beach, and the Picton–Waikawa and Snout tracks are reached from the same network.
