About Picton Foreshore

Picton is unusual among ferry ports in that the terminals, the waterfront reserve and the town's main streets sit in one contiguous, walkable precinct. The foreshore is the middle of it: lawn and palms between London Quay and the water, the marina and the Coathanger footbridge at one end, and the war memorial archway with its lone-soldier statue looking out over the harbour.

The Picton i-SITE visitor centre is on the foreshore, and is also the pick-up point for Bluebridge's free walk-on shuttle. From here the shortest walk in town — over the bridge to Shelly Beach — takes ten minutes, and the London Quay cafes and restaurants are across the road.
