About Picton to Waikawa Track

Waikawa is the bay and settlement immediately north of Picton — the two have grown into one urban area — and this is the off-road way between them, through Victoria Domain. The council maps two routes: one via Endeavour Park that it grades Easy, and a second, slightly longer route graded Moderate.

It is the one track in the Domain where dogs may be off-leash (except within Endeavour Park), and both routes are shared with bikes. At the Waikawa end you arrive near the marina.

Know before you go

  • Dogs off-leash on the track, on-leash in Endeavour Park.
  • Shared with bikes.
